If it has a nametag or when the config setting "isAlwaysPersistent" is set to true, then it wont disappear

Before the mob spawns it checks the area around the position if there is already another mob of this type around.

If yes then it will check how many. And in the config you can also change how big of an area it should check around the mob spawn point and a max number.

If there are more mobs in that area then the max number then it wont spawn the new mob. This option is to prevent overspawning.

In this config the spawn weight, min, max settings only apply to fabric!

And another config settings the "increase hunger when biting" so you can set this to a higher number if you think it is too aggressive. The number means second and the max hunger for a shark is 5 minute so 300 second.

Bite sound volume also has been decreased from 1-1.8 to 0.8-1
