Changelog
Fire 4.4-1.21 is out!
What's new?
- Implemented Fire 4.4 updates to 1.21.
- Deleted "Low Shield" and "Low Fire" resource packs from (Only) Fire 4.4-1.21 because of technical reasons.
What's new in Fire 4.4
- Added Sodium Core Shader Support
- Deleted Simple Modpack Update Checker (SMUC).
Why was Simple Modpack Update Checker deleted from Fire?
The main reason for this was version support; SMUC only supports the 1.21 version and newer. This is causing a problem because Fire will support all versions from 1.16.3 and higher. Additionally, there were technical issues. Other update checkers are having the same problem. The only solution for me is to make a fork of any update checker mod or make my own one.
Next versions that Fire will support are:
- 1.21.2-1.21.3
- 1.21.11
Also, 1.21.1, 1.21.4-1.21.10 Minecraft versions (Ones that Fire supports) will be receiving a new update.
Reminder (Please read this): Not all content from the Fire content list are on 4.4-1.21-r. The reason for this is the possibilities of 1.21 in the modding community. This issue is mostly present in the latest Minecraft releases from the first 2 weeks, as well as in older versions like 1.16.3.
Plans for 2026
You see, I'm having a bit of a problem, there are hundreds of the same modpacks as Fire, the only difference is a couple of mods, which can be installed by the player themselves anyway, also, some mods just having too little Minecraft version support, some are just not good enough for me, so, I'm planning making my own mods in this year, not in MCreator or anything like that, but real one's. I'm still not sure when or how, I don't even have skills for it, but I hope I will have those with me this year, with leads to mod development, so maybe, in the next few years, I will be more focused on mod development, and not modpack development. Also, this way I'm helping myself in the future, because programming knowledge will help me find employment when I am going to be searching for it. (I hope so, or AI will replace me aaaa), Some mods will also be cloud-based, so I think it's going to be interesting. But first, I need to learn all of that 🤓
