# Re-Console+ 0.1-beta.1.0
# Summary
This update is the first version for Re-Console+, introducing the largest swath of changes ever seen for the modpack. From Limited World Generation and a WIP How To Play menu, and a whole, whole lot more! This is also technically Re-Console 26.1.0, for LTS.
Keep in mind that this is a BETA! All of RC+ is not implemented.

### Added Legacy World Sizes
This is the flagship addition of this update. This mod reintroduces Legacy Console Edition limited worlds. This change could introduce Mod Compatibility issues, so please be careful
### Added modern How To Play menu (WIP)
Unfinished as of now, but is finished up to ~1.15.x, with some 1.16.x content too. More to come later!
### Added No Prying Eyes/No Telemetry*
A direct replacement for No Chat Reports, which causes a significant performance loss.

### Added RenderScale*
Third times the charm or something, allows you to render the game at a lower resolution from the UI. This can meaningfully improve performance.

### Added Pro Placer
This feature was actually initially added in 0.8.0! It re-adds in Bedrock/LCE like placing, and was an unlogged change if i remember correctly. It was removed when we ported to 1.21.4, but has been reintroduced across all versions.

Now all versions have their own specific panoramas!
### Added Preferred Gamerules
For usage later, could be configured by the users
### Added Simple Resource Loader
A mod that allows me to develop always on resource packs and datapacks. If you played Re-Console back in early 2024, we used Load My Resources to achieve a similar effect!

Minor mod allowing mod configs you just opened to be at the top of the Mod Menu button.

Minor QoL addition if you play on servers

⚪️ Configuration Changes
This update has made a good amount of configuration changes to help improve performance.
### Enabled Dynamic Resources on 1.21.10
Improves load time and memory usage
### Improved C2ME configuration
The C2ME config has been further improved, helping world gen speed massively. On my own system I was able to generate 64 chunks in ~32 seconds.
### Improved Crash Assistant Config
Now shows proper modlist, proper changes, etc.
### Disabled Early Loading Screen on NeoForge 1.21.1
Speeds up loading on 1.21.1 NeoForge!
### Set Raise Sound Limit to 2047
Prevents menu music from playing 2x over.
### Applied Translatable Albums to the custom albums
Like the normal albums, they are now utilizing translation keys
### Set Default World Type to Large
New worlds will by default be 5120x5120!

Many new performance mods were added to help smooth out bumps!
### Added KryptonFNP
A direct improvement upon Krypton, local network play (LAN) should show improvement, along with e4mc/world host hosted multiplayer!
### Added Gnetum (Forge and NeoForge only)
Could improve performance significantly, specially because it modifies UI.
### Added ServerCore
ServerCore could improve performance meaningfully in singleplayer; so it has been added!
Primarily; it deduplicates liquid ticks, improves world gen speed and may come with a side effect of minor vanilla parity breakage.
### Added Ixeris
Should improve performance marginally. Thanks to [chorb](https://www.curseforge.com/members/chorb/projects>) for telling me about the mod.
### Added ParticleCore
Improvement to particle performance, could be useful for mob farms, or wandering around on 1.21.5+

The last LTS update was 25.19.16, on nov 20th of 2025. Almost every change that could be backported to LTS now has been.
### Backported LazyAI
Can improve TPS performance meaningfully in high-entity situations
### Backported Shader additions
All 10 shaderpacks now included in Re-Console by default have been backported to 1.21.8 and below
### Backported Egyptian Mythology Mash-up
The Egyptian Mythology Mash-up has been added to all versions.
### Backported resource album improvements
Legacy Modpack Resources adds all the resource albums (mash up packs and the such) as translatable keys. This has now been backported to all versions
### Backported Tutorial World Improvements
Now adjusted to the new L4J format, this should reduce file size
### Backported Legacy4J configuration changes
Advanced Options has been set to default again for a cleaner user experience.
### Backported C2ME and ScalableLux improvements*
As C2ME and ScalableLux improve further, it seems more sense to use those over Moonrise, due to rapid iteration by Ishland. Will improve performance

### Removed Dark-Mode album
The Dark Mode album has ran into consistent issues when it has come to fully functioning as intended. It has been removed in its current form with intention to come back in a better form later.
### Removed 1080p Keyboard Tooltips
All functionality has been added to base Legacy4J, and on LTS into Legacy Modpack Resources, hence this has been removed
### Removed Default Skin Pack

## 🔵 Updates
### Updated all mods
All mods and resource packs in the modpack have been updated.
### Updated modloaders
All modloaders have been updated. If you were on Fabric, this is a bump from 0.18.1 to 0.18.4, for instance. For users this is insignificant.
### Updated to Animatium 3.0
Animatium brings in some nice changes for 3.0!
### Updated to Legacy Modpack Resources v4
This update comes with a lot of changes, integration with a lot of resource packs, and a bunch of work on some minor textures.
# 🟣 Meta-changes
Re-Console, Simply Legacy and Rekindled Legacy have moved from GitHub to Codeberg for a variety of reasons. If you have an issue please preferably make one on the Codeberg repository. The GitHub repository is no longer actively maintained.
## New Changelog Format
To improve readability, the changelog format had been modified to allow for categories.
## Fixed uploading issues on specific CurseForge versions
Curseforge due to some specific issues, was being declined upon upload. This has been fixed now and hence the versions are now available.
## Versioning Change
Re-Console+ when it exits Alpha and Beta will be utilizing the version scheme vY.X, so for instance,
v1.2 is patch 1 for version 1.0
For alpha and beta however we are utilizing 0.x-alpha.y.z
Please note that RC’s LTS versions should still utilize the old versioning.
## Essential Force Disabled
If you utilize the essential mod, upon updating you will notice that Re-Console refuses to boot with it installed now.
This is due to a variety of reasons and with essential causing gui issues, world corruption, etc, it will not be supported.
## CurseForge Delayed
CurseForge has been delayed until our tooling catches up.
