A resource pack for Minecraft Transit Railway.
Overview
The London Underground 1972 stock is a type of train produced by Metro-Cammell between 1972 and 1974. The first batch of 30 trains (Mk1) was ordered to replace the life-expired 1938 stocks after a plan to refurbish some 1938 stocks was scrapped. The train was ordered in a hurry; therefore, the design of the 1967 stock for the Victoria Line is used as the basis of this train, except that it doesn’t come with ATO equipment. The second batch of 33 trains (Mk2) was ordered for the Northern Line, featuring a slightly different design when they entered service. These trains didn’t stay long on the Northern line, as they were transferred to the Jubilee Line until they got a new rolling stock, and then returned to the Northern line. In 1999, these trains were replaced by the 1995 stocks. Most Mk2 stocks were transferred to the Bakerloo Line to replace the remaining 1959 stocks, and some Mk1 stocks were converted to be compatible with the Mk2 stocks and transferred to the Bakerloo Line. These trains are now due for replacement by the 2024 stock.
This resource pack is to add the London Underground 1972 stock into Minecraft with the Minecraft Transit Railway mod, made by Navi_LX9702 in 2026.
