🚆 CP – Comboios de Portugal Resource Pack (GeoRailways)

The CP – Comboios de Portugal Resource Pack brings Portuguese railway operations into GeoRailways, with a strong focus on suburban, regional, and long-distance passenger services. This pack reflects both real CP operations and their current in-server usage, especially within the Damaia Metropolitan Area.
Suburban Trains

CP2400 – Suburban EMU operating in the Damaia Metropolitan Area, commonly seen on high-frequency urban routes.
CP3500 – Suburban EMU actively used in the Damaia Metropolitan Area, optimized for commuter traffic.
CP3150 – Suburban EMU included in the resource pack but not currently in service on the GeoRailways server.
CP3250 – Suburban EMU available for future deployment, not yet used in active operations.
CP3400 – Suburban EMU present in the pack, reserved for future implementation.
Long-Distance & InterCity Services

CP5600 – Electric locomotive dedicated to InterCity (IC) services.
CP4000 (Alfa Pendular) – High-speed tilting EMU used on premium long-distance services, representing CP’s flagship train.
Regional & Mixed-Use Services
CP2240 – Electric Multiple Unit (EMU / UTE – Unidade Tripla Elétrica) used on regional, suburban, and intercity services, making it one of the most versatile units in the CP fleet.
Passenger Coaches
ARCO coaches – Long-distance passenger coaches primarily used on IR and IC services.
Corail coaches – Classic long-distance coaches, well known for comfort and reliability.
Freight Operations
CP4700 – Electric locomotive used in both passenger and freight services.
Medway 4700 – Freight locomotive representing private operators on the Portuguese railway network.
💡 GeoRailways Design Philosophy
This pack follows a realistic fleet-usage approach, where only part of the available rolling stock is actively used at any given time — closely mirroring real-world CP operations.
